To Infinity and Beyond - well at least to 3 years old!

Tyler's third birthday party was a Toy Story party or as he called it a "Buzz and Woody party." We were lucky to have so many wonderful friends and family come and celebrate with us, including both sets of grandparents, honorary grandparents, some aunts/uncles, our wonderful neighbors, and his three best girls. We all had a great time and wanted to share some of our fun pictures.

The first game we played was "Find the Green Army men."  I "hid" a bunch of little green army men all over the room and the kids had to find as many as they could.  Below are some pictures of the kids counting up their findings.

Of course Ryan had to be dressed for the party, so he came as Buzz Lightyear.

The next game we played was essentially pin the tail on the donkey, except it was pin the badge on Woody/Buzz.  I was worried that with only four kids we may need some adults to play, but the kids loved it so much that they just kept on taking turns.  It was really cute to watch and it was great that they just cheered each other on every time.

Tyler and his three best girls!  He is already quite the ladies man.

The Birthday Boy!

Our next activity involved the adults a bit more.  I had a bunch of props to resemble some of the Toy Story characters and everyone had to choose one to use for a photo.  These pictures are great memories from this party and we are glad that everyone played along and had fun.

Tyler (and Ryan will too) knows these women as Grandma, Mimi, Grandma, and Grammy - he is such a lucky boy.

One final picture of the cookies we made with the food labels done by my husband.  I was pretty proud of the food menu and how it was themed to the party, if I don't say so myself.  We had To Infinity and Beyond Fruit Rockets, Woody's Blazing Buffalo Chicken Dip, Mr. Potato Head's Potato Salad, Slinky Dogs in a Blanket, Green Alien Juice, and Jessie's Cowgirl Hat Cookies (and birthday cake).  Special thank you shout outs to everyone who helped make/bring the food - Dani, Kathy, Mom, Lori - you guys rock!

Thanks to everyone who came to be a part of Tyler's special day.  It is so hard to believe he is already 3 years old.  He is growing and learning more each day and is truly a joy in our lives.  Now it is on To Four and Beyond!!!
